What is Outbound Training?
Outbound Training (OBT) is an action- and activity-based behavioral training intervention for employee development based on the experiential learning methodology of “learning by doing,” “hands-on experience,” and includes outdoor, adventure, and team-building activities that engage participants to achieve the desired learning outcomes.
Outbound training focuses on activities that increase leadership, communication, planning, change management, delegation, teamwork, and motivation. Participants are divided into groups and given tasks or activities to complete within a certain amount of time.
